Get ready to challenge yourself on a very flat, multi-terrain half marathon course that showcases the best of Northstowe and its neighboring areas. The race begins in the heart of Northstowe Town, weaving through the new developments that represent the town’s modern spirit. From there, runners will enjoy the tranquility of the peaceful paths around Bug Hunter Waters lake, providing a serene contrast to the urban start.
The course then leads out past some of Longstanton’s historic landmarks, offering a glimpse into the area’s rich heritage. As you continue, you’ll find yourself surrounded by the expansive natural vistas of the countryside, with open skies providing a picturesque and motivational setting for the latter part of the run.
Finally, you’ll head back to Western Park, where the finish line awaits amidst the buzz of the runners’ village. Here, you’ll find free entertainment to keep the whole family entertained and a delicious street food market offering a variety of treats to refuel and celebrate your achievement.
